Project description: Passively cooled greenhouse dwelling, in Pahoa, Hawaii.

Requirements:

-Gothic arched roof. Plywood laminated arches, designed for production with use of the maslow CNC router.

-Floor plan layout: 36' x 72' with dwelling on each end. Central shared atrium.

-Clear span interior, using lightweight structural supports.

-The middle atrium incorporates a natural pool that serves to raise water plants. The water feature also serves to regulate temperature due to its thermal mass.

-Grey water treatment

-100% solar powered
